SURGERY FEES

Our surgery quotation is informed financial consent to/or behalf of the patient in advance about the expected costs (item numbers) of Dr Anderson’s services.  It is important you understand the requested assignment of benefits you sign with Dr Anderson on your surgery quotation.

Assignment of Benefit is the private health fund paying benefit for the item numbers to Dr Anderson on your behalf. You MUST ensure the item numbers are covered by your private health fund. We recommend contacting the health fund to confirm this prior to signing your surgery quotation.

You are required to read, sign, and return a copy of your surgery quotation to the clinic and confirm you are covered for the item numbers on the quotation.  Your surgery will not be booked until the full fee (uninsured patient) or the gap fee (private health fund) is paid.

Please note, this information is not relevant for any locum ENT surgeon consulting from Dr Andersons rooms.  These surgeons are independent business operators and set their own individual schedule of fees.
