Post Operative Care

At the time of discharge at Mater Pimlico Hospital, the hospital staff and Dr Anderson will provide post operative instructions which will include Dr Anderson’s mobile phone number for any generalised questions or concerns.

However, if it is medically urgent, we ask you to please attend The Townsville University Emergency Department as they can facilitate your emergency and there is always an ENT specialist on call. If you proceed to Mater Emergency, you will required to pay a non-rebatable fee and they may redirect you to The Townsville University Hospital.

NQENT staff will include in your surgery paperwork of your post-operative appointment. You will receive a text message reminder prior to your appointment.
