Post Operative Care

*IMPORTANT* The Mater Pimlico Campus does not have an on-call ENT surgeon.

Dr Anderson may have provided his personal mobile number for post operative contact, however, if you are worried or if it is an emergency, we advise to proceed to the Townsville University Hospital Emergency Department to be assessed by the Emergency doctors.  The Mater Pimlico Emergency Department may not be able to facilitate your ENT emergency and there is a fee payable that is non-rebatable. They will contact Dr Anderson, if not available, an ENT surgeon is always on call.  

Post-operatively Dr Anderson will see you in our rooms 2 weeks after surgery and this date and time will be provided in your surgery quotation.  We will send you an SMS reminder for this appointment. Alternatively, if you are out of catchment and had a minor procedure Dr Anderson will call you for your review.
